PADI Course Director

I started diving in 1986 with a "trial dive" in the pool while vacationing in Mombasa - Kenya: after the first breath underwater, I immediately knew diving would be my passion for the rest of my life. The diving center where I started was a CMAS dive center after the 1 Star CMAS graduations I did all the way up to the 3 Star Instructor.

1996 I switched to the PADI system and in 2011 I did my IDC on "The Dive Connection" in EL Gouna / Egypt with Course Director Nikolay Baumann "Go Pro" with PADI.

My mission as a Course Director is to encourage IDC candidates from around the world to become PADI Ambassadors and to further convey the PADI philosophy. For this reason, I will concentrate on the promotion of the instructor level and their further education!

Another important goal for me is Project AWARE's motto is environmental protection especially our seas. I hope that all new instructors will pass that on to their students, friends and family!

2017 I celebrate 3 mile stones: diving for 30 years, 20 years PADI membership and my second year as Course Director
